Biography
Shanna Sharp is the founder, sole owner, and operator of SharpCare Logistics LLC, a Black-owned and woman-owned medical courier company serving healthcare organizations throughout Dane County and the Madison Metropolitan Area. She established SharpCare to deliver an elevated standard of medical logistics grounded in precision, confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and owner-direct accountability.
Shanna’s leadership is supported by a strong educational foundation. She earned an Addiction Studies Diploma and an Associate of Science in Human Services from Madison College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Leadership from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. As an MBA candidate at the University of Phoenix, she continues to strengthen her expertise in business strategy, organizational leadership, professional operations, and sustainable growth.
Her specialized preparation includes certifications in HIPAA Privacy and Security Compliance, DOT Hazardous Materials Awareness, the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard, Defensive Driving, UN3373 Specimen Handling, and Chain-of-Custody and Specimen Handling Documentation. These credentials support SharpCare’s secure transportation of laboratory specimens, prescriptions, blood products, confidential medical records, medical supplies, and equipment.
Before establishing SharpCare, Shanna gained professional experience through The Salvation Army, United Way, Urban Triage, The Beacon, Urban Triage’s Emerging Adult Home, Next Door Foundation in Milwaukee, and WayForward Resources in Middleton. Her work in human services and her experience as a Certified Peer Specialist strengthened her abilities in confidential information management, accurate documentation, service coordination, professional communication, and compassionate community engagement.
